The A6 Garstang Bypass links the town to Preston to the south and Lancaster to the north, both just over ten miles away. The bright lights of Blackpool are just 16 miles away via the M55, while the M6 can be accessed just six miles to the north at junction 33 or around 8 miles to the South at Junction 32.Garstang does not have a railway station, but you can join the West Coast Mailine at either Preston or Lancaster, with swift services to London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. For international travel, head for Blackpool Airport or Manchester International, or for something a little different, head to Heysham for direct car ferries to the Isle of Man.
