Within ten minutes you can find yourself in the Brecon Beacons National Park, which offers breathtaking scenery and many other activities.

Transport

A frequent bus service runs to and from Aberdare town centre, where the main bus station can be found. The nearest local railway station is located in Cwmbach approximately 500 metres from the development, connecting to the main station in Aberdare town centre which has links to the main Inter-City service throughout the UK. Cardiff International Airport is easily accessible by car within an hour.

There is a supermarket and DIY store on a retail park located close to the development, with Aberdare town centre offering a wide range of high street banks and building societies together with a large variety of shops and a good library. Health needs are well catered for by a variety of local surgeries, dental practices and opticians. The main hospital is Aberdare General.

There is a variety of schools within easy reach, including Cwmbach Church of Wales Primary School, situated 500 yards from the development. Robertstown Nursery School, Ynysllwyd Primary School and Town Church Primary School also lie within 2 miles. For senior education, St John Baptist School (Church of Wales), Aberdare Boys' Comprehensive and Aberdare Girls' Comprehensive are all within 3 miles.
