The town of Crawley is just 5 miles to the west, with East Grinstead a similar distance to the east, while the coastal culture of Brighton is just 30 miles to the south on the A23. Nearby Three Bridges Station in Crawley speeds you into London Bridge in just 45 minutes, with regular rush hour services for commuters, while Brighton can be reached by rail in just over half an hour.

Shopping

Crawley boasts excellent shopping, with the County Mall Shopping Centre offering over 90 shops and hundreds of parking spaces. Closer to home, Crawley Down is well served by a local Co-operative store, with all the leading supermarkets available in either Crawley or East Grinstead.

Authentic Village Life

Crawley Downs offers a taste of times gone by, with a traditional village community that is full of fun and energy. The Village Hall and Haven Centre both host regular shows and events, while Crawley Down’s football, tennis and cricket clubs represent the village across the county and all welcome new members to their squads. The village is surrounded by superb walking country, including the Worth Way along the former railway line from Crawley to East Grinstead, and the Sussex Border Path.
