Forest Rise over looks the small Cotswold town of Nailsworth, which is surrounded by beautiful fields and trees. Nailsworth is a very cosmopolitan town, with a mixture of all age groups. Forest Green is set on the outskirts of the nearby towns of Stroud and Tetbury which are both approximately 5 miles away. Nailsworth has had a lot of improvements over the years, and many of the properties have been renovated.

There's an old manor house near to Forest Green built in the Victorian times, which is a lovely place to visit with original features and a lovely walk nearby.

Bristol Airport is 55 miles from Nailsworth and Birmingham Airport is 72 miles from Nailsworth. The M5 motorway is approximately 15 minutes from 'Forest Rise', Stroud is on Junction 13 of the M5.

There are a variety of local shops 1.5 miles from 'Forest Rise', from butchers, delicatessants and boutiques. These shops are in the heart of town, also included are the local tourist information centre, churches, banks, dentist, vets, care homes and supermarkets. There are also local farmers' markets in Nailsworth town on Friday and a larger one on Saturday in Stroud. In Stroud you have larger high street stores and supermarkets. There are many restaurants in and around Nailsworth.
The local doctors surgery is called Pricemill, and is 2 miles from 'Forest Rise'. The nearest hospital is located in Stroud, which is approximately 5 miles away. There is a youth centre for the children 1 mile from 'Forest Rise' and nearby playing fields that has a skate board ramp.
