Bordered by countryside, and steeped in history, Chadderton offers numerous options when it comes to taking time out.  Chadderton Hall Park, with its six hectares, two crown bowling greens, range of tennis courts, and woodland walks, provides the ideal setting for a family day out; while Foxdenton Park, with its historical charm, beautiful lush landscaped gardens and play area, offers the perfect scene for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

A short drive away you'll find numerous nature sports; travel just a little further, and the North Yorkshire Moors, Peak District and South Pennines offer endless escapes from everyday life.

If you'd rather unwind with a little retail therapy, Elk Mill Retail Park boasts a great range of high street stores, as well as a host of specialist shops and boutiques.  And if a night out on the town is more your idea of relaxation, there's a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants in Chadderton, with many more to choose from in Oldham and Manchester, for the hardcore reveller.

Chadderton prides itself on its standard of education too.  There is a good selection of infant, primary and secondary schools within half a mile of Spinners Mews, whilst Oldham College offers a great range of further education courses.
