Perfectly located, Awel-y-Mor offers excellent commuter links, with the M4 junction 44 a mile away. A regular bus service runs from nearby Llansamlet, giving national coverage from Swansea. The nearest train station can be found here too - linking to all main city lines. For those with further flung destinations in mind, Cardiff International Airport is around 40 miles.

Vibrant, modern, yet refreshingly quaint, Morriston town provides the perfect backdrop to everyday life. You won't have to stray far from home to find a selection of local shops, pubs and doctor's surgery, whilst the regenerated SAI is about a 10 minute drive away, home to the widest range of smart bars and distinctive restaurants.
If you're into sports, you'll be pleased to hear that the town boasts a good leisure centre with pool and gym facilities. And further afield, about 3 miles away in fact, the private Glamorgan Health & Racquet Club offers excellent amenities, fitness centre, health suite and both indoor and outdoor pools.
Banks, building societies, supermarkets and local shops can all be found in Morriston too, with excellently reputed junior and comprehensive schools found in nearby Birchgrove. The nearest private school, Ffynone House, is in Swansea, around 6 miles away.
Rugby is a great passion in this region of the world, and the local Ospreys are a first class team. New Liberty Stadium is the scene for the most impressive scrums downs, not to mention football and major concerts, and it's only 10 minutes away from Awel-y-Mor; perfect for whiling away the weekend.
