Getting around
Access to surrounding areas is easy, making it ideal for exploring the region, or for the commuter travelling to work. The M1 can be accessed close by at Junction 14 and Milton Keynes is just a few minutes’ drive away. Broughton has good public transport links, and sustainable transport is encouraged by the provision of redways for either cycling or walking. Central Milton Keynes train station is approximately 3.5 miles away and from here London Euston can be reached in only 37 minutes. Luton Airport is around 18 miles from the village.

Broughton’s Church of St Lawrence, dating back to the early 14th Century, is Grade I listed and surrounded by delightful old buildings. A developing village, there are now a whole host of local amenities for your convenience, including shops, a hairdresser’s, an estate agent’s, a large supermarket and petrol station at the Kingston Centre. There is also a family friendly pub and restaurant. For those with young families, primary education is catered for at Broughton Fields Primary School which is less than a mile away, whilst Oakgrove Secondary School is also close by. Farms, areas of woodland and open fields surround the development, creating a peaceful lifestyle on your doorstep.

Easy access to Milton Keynes means you have all the benefits of the city only a few minutes away. Milton Keynes offers the unrivalled shopping experience of the centre:mk, the Milton Keynes gallery and theatre, not to mention the abundance of bars and restaurants that can be found there. Xscape is also based in the city, with its indoor ski slope, 16 screen multiplex cinema and bowling alley. If you love the outdoors, Willen Lake is nearby, and Broughton Linear Park runs right through the area.
