Location

North Cornelly is situated approximately 3 miles from juntions 37 of the M4 along the A4229. Porthcawl town centre is approximately 4 miles from the site and Bridgend town centre 6 miles. The development is ideally situated for access to both Cardiff and Swansea on the M4.

Recreation & Leisure

There are a number of residential and leisure facilities available locally to suit most tastes and abilities. The leisure centre in Pyle provides a swimming pool and there is a local fitness centre. There is a local golf club in the area and a more varied selection in Porthcawl. A multiplex cinema is located off junction 36 and a variety of of restaurants and public houses are situated in the nearby resort of Porthcawl. The Kenfig Nature reserve is within walking distance of the site and offers beautiful walks and view over the sand dunes.

Transport

A local bus service runs to Bridgend twon centre where connections can be made to both Cardiff and Swansea. The local railway station can be found in Pyle linking to the main station situated in Bridgend. The nearest airport is Cardiff International, approximately 35 miles away.

The main seaside town of Porthcawl and Bridgend town centre offer a greater variety of shops and the well known McArthur Glen Shopping outlet is approximately 5 miles away. Both the local primary and junior schools are within walking distance of the site and the comprehensive is 1.5 miles away in Kenfig Hill.
