Glyn Coediog is ideally situated for commuting being approximately 5 miles from both junctions 32 & 34 of the M4 motorway. Also being within easy reach of Pontypridd and Llantrisant.

Recreation & Leisure

There are a number of recreational and leisure pursuits available locally to suit all tastes and abilities. There are various well maintained golf courses within the area offering plenty of choice for the keen golfer. On the nearby estate of Treforest there is a multiplex cinema. Close by in Cardiff you have all the attractions that a major city can offer, including a vast array of restaurants, theatres and concert halls as well as international sporting venues. To the North of the 'Glyn Coediog' you will find the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park, which to the South, you can explore the splendour of the Heritage Coast.

Transport

There is a local bus stop opposite the development operating a regular service to Pontypridd town centre and the surrounding district, this also connects you to the main bus station. The nearest local railway station is located in Pontypridd linking to the main Inter-City service throughout the UK. There is another station close by in Pontyclun, which operates a main line service to Swansea and West Wales. Cardiff International Airport is easily accessible and approximately 35 minutes away.

Amenities

The village of Llanwit Fardre provides a handful of essential grocery shops as well as post office and takeaways with a much wider variety being available in nearby Pontypridd. Tesco have a supermarket in Upperboat (Pontypridd) and Talbot Green. Talbot Green also provides a good selection of shops, banks and retail outlets - these can be reached within a 10 mintue drive from the development. The newly built Royal Glamorgan Hospital is close by and there are local doctors and dental practices available. The area has a good selection of infant, primary and secondary schools, in addition to the University of Glamorgan in Pontypridd. There are also a number of private schools the nearest located in Cardiff. All schools have excellent reputations.
