Parc Heol Gerrig is located in the village of Heol Gerrig which is about a mile from the heart of Mertyr Tydfil. Cardiff and Swansea are both easily accessible via the A470 just 5 minutes away.

Merthyr Tydil offers a selection of public houses and restaurants, and there is a local leisure centre available to suit most tastes and abilities, along with a selection of private gyms. What's more, within 10 minutes you can find yourself in the Brecon Beacons National Park, which offers breathtaking scenery along with a host of outdoor activities.
Transport
The A470 runs along side the town providing road links to Brecon, Swansea and Cardiff. There are also regular bus services within Merthyr Tydfil as well as coach services to Cardiff and beyond. The nearest train station is located in Merthyr Tydfil, with a half hourly service to and from Cardiff Central.

The town of Merthyr Tydfil offers a good selection of shops, high street banks, indoor and outdoor markets and there are numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants to be found in the town centre. Carfartha Retail Park, just minutes from the development, boasts many high street names including B&Q, Debenhams, Next, Boots and Currys. There are also two large supermarkets in the area.
The development is served by a good quality local primary and high school, while the local hospital is The Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.
