Transport
Ringinglow Gardens enjoys a quiet location, away from the main commuter routes, but that doesn’t mean it is remote or hard to reach. The main A625 lies just a short drive away, speeding you into the city, where the M1 and M18 lie just beyond. Sheffield is also well served by main line rail services, with the East Coast Mainline whisking you off to London in just over two hours, giving you a full working day in the capital.
Head in the opposite direction, and you’ll find spectacular scenery unfolding around you in a matter of minutes, as Ringinglow Road drives you straight into the heart of the Peak District.
Such an exciting City... Sheffield has so much to offer, you’ll struggle to know where to start. Take to the slopes at Sheffield Ski Village, or learn to skate at IceSheffield. Enjoy top quality football in the birthplace of the modern game with Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday, or watch some of the world’s best athletics stars compete at Don Valley Stadium. Or why not treat yourself to a front row seat for some of entertainment’s biggest acts at Sheffield City Hall or the massive MotorPoint Arena.
Sheffield has some superb shopping too, with a thriving city centre and 200 stall indoor market, complemented by the famous Meadow Hall Shopping Centre and Crystal Peaks, both boasting over 200 stores and a wide range of restaurants. Or to dine in style, head for Eccleshall Road, close to the development, and choose from a breathtaking variety of international cuisine served in a wonderful continental pavement café atmosphere.
The peaks of perfection So close that they fill your senses, you won’t be able to resist the lure of the moors for long, and once you’ve surrendered to the peace of the Peak District, you’ll be hooked. Visit Ladybower Reservoir and relive the history of the flooded Derwent Valley villages, or simply pull on your boots and head off into the hills. You’ll soon forget how close you are to the city and all its stresses.
And you don’t even have to head to the hills to get back to nature. Porter Valley Nature Reserve and Ecclesall Wood and Bird Sanctuary both lie within easy reach of the development, delighting children and adults alike.
