Existing rail connections can be found at Station Brow in Leyland, Sheperd’s Way, Chorley and Balshaw Lane in Euxton.

Most shopping, leisure and banking facilities can be found in and around Chorley, Leyland and Euxton. Leyland, just 2 miles from the development, hosts a wide selection of shopping outlets, including a 24 hour Tesco supermarket, while Clayton Green, located to the north east of Buckshaw Village benefits from a 24 hour Asda. Further amenities can be found in Chorley, around 4 miles from the development. There is a wide choice of schools close by, while Runshaw College is just a short drive from the development. The area is well served by doctors and dental practices including Euxton Hall and Chorley District hospital close by.
