It’s up to you. The largest town in North Wales, Wrexham offers ample opportunities to live it up with its mix of High Street shops, convenient parking, vibrant bars and excellent restaurants. What’s more, the town has some of the best sports and leisure facilities in North Wales, offering fantastic opportunities for cycling, horse riding, canoeing and walking, and of course, there’s the football club, rugby club and racecourse, giving you as many opportunities to spectate as there are to participate.
Getting around
Ideally located within an hour’s drive of three major cities and two International Airports, Ty Newydd offers easy access to Liverpool, Chester and Manchester. A drive into town takes mere minutes and the North Wales Coast Road, about ten miles away takes you to some stunning panoramas, glorious countryside and a sense of history.
Nestled between the green of the Cheshire plains and the Welsh hills, Wrexham’s location in the lower Dee Valley places you within easy reach of a wealth of local attractions. The magnificent Erddig Hall, Chirk Castle and Wrexham Parish Church have found a special place in the hearts of local people and, nearby you’ll find the picture-postcard village of Bangor-on-Dee, with its breathtaking 17th Century bridge designed by Inigo Jones, along with a string of other places of interest, from the Bersham Heritage Centre to the Minera Lead Mines.
