Transport

Crown Park lies just a few minutes from the A55, the main Chester ring road,  which becomes the North Wales coast road to the west. To the east, the A55 becomes the M53, linking directly to Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnel and Manchester via the M56. Chester Station has direct trains to Liverpool and Manchester and connects to London in just over two hours. Liverpool and Manchester Airports are also both within easy reach.

Chester shopping has something to suit all tastes and budgets, from the thriving market to the exclusive specialist stores of The Rows. The Grosvenor Shopping Centre is home to a host of big names, including the flagship Browns of Chester, while Liverpool’s £1billion development Liverpool One and the outlet stores of Cheshire Oaks are both just a short drive away. The development is served by a major Sainsbury’s store in nearby Boughton. The village itself offers a Post Office, a few shops and takeaways, a garden centrs lovely pubs and a supermarket..

Sport and Leisure

Football fans will be spoilt for choice at Crown Park, with Premier League teams Liverpool and Everton within easy reach, and local success story Chester City. Chester Races holds regular meetings, and the racecourse is also home to a host of fairs and concerts through the year. Quality golf can be found locally at Eaton and Vicars Cross Golf Clubs, while Chester’s Northgate Arena offers a wealth of other sports.

Entertainment

Chester has a varied and exciting nightlife, from a choice of theatres and cinemas to top quality restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Vue Cinema at Cheshire Oaks even boasts an iMax screen for that extra excitement. Further afield, the top international stars and shows of Liverpool’s Echo Arena make a great night out. Across Cheshire, Jodrell Bank and Delamere Forest both hold regular concerts in unusual settings through the year.

Chester and the surrounding area are home to a number of high quality private schools, including the historic Kings School. Closer to the development, Saighton has its own Church of England primary, with Huntington Community Primary also close by.
