Leisure often centres on the River Avon, which winds around the town, with Evesham Paddlesports and Evesham Sailing clubs making the most of the water. Stratford upon Avon is around 15miles, Worcester 18miles, Cheltenham 19miles and Warwick and Gloucester around 25miles. The M5 at J7 northbound, and J9 southbound, is within easy reach at around 15miles, as is the M40 around 23miles away. Birmingham International Airport is around three quarters of an hour’s drive away.
