The award-winning house builder’s Cooper Court development in Hazel Grove played host to the event which invited visitors to fill in a tag and attach it to one of the balloons in a bid to see if their balloon travelled the furthest.
The prize at stake is an exclusive flight for two people* in Redrow’s very own hot air balloon at one of the many balloon festivals that take place around the UK, plus a night’s dinner, bed and breakfast in a luxury hotel.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West), says: “The balloon race event was a perfect opportunity to interact with the local community of Hazel Grove, and provide some light hearted fun with fantastic prizes up for grabs for the winners.”
As well as the opportunity to win an exclusive flight in Redrow’s own hot air balloon, there will also be a second prize of a Wicker’s World balloon voucher worth £149 for a hot air balloon ride for one person at a choice of venues around the UK, and a third prize of £100 M&S vouchers.
The finder of the balloon that travels the furthest will also receive a £50 voucher.
Already proving itself to be the height of sophistication, Cooper Court will eventually feature 98 exciting properties close to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Hazel Grove. The first people have already moved in and a vibrant new community is starting to emerge.
Current availability includes two-bedroom apartments from just £156,000 and two and three-bedroom houses from £169,950 to £254,950. Future releases will include apartments with Juliet balconies overlooking the neighbouring reservoir.
Travel connections from Hazel Grove are excellent, with easy access to the A6 and M60 motorway and a local railway station which takes people straight into Manchester Piccadilly in 30 minutes.
