Providing home buyers with a perfect Christmas present, Redrow’s developments have a good selection of homes ready for people to move into in time to enjoy the festive season.
The homes themselves are perfect for entertaining and there’s a choice of ‘gifts’ to make them even more appealing.
At Water’s Edge, in Hanley, for instance, customers can choose from a selection of two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses, with prices from £119.950 to £191,950.
There’s a mix and match selection of pre-Christmas incentives on selected plots only that includes £500 per calendar month towards the mortgage for two years – perfect for those worried about managing their monthly finances in 2008 – or 5% deposit paid for those struggling to raise the necessary cash up front.
Alternatively for those with a property still to sell, the offer of part-exchange means they’re guaranteed a quick and effortless sale for their existing property with no worry about the chain breaking.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: “Christmas can be an expensive time of year, with presents to buy, lots of parties and entertaining, plus an over-indulgence in luxury food and drink. The thought of splashing out on a brand new home at the same time may all be too much, but our offers are designed to make it financially viable – and a real Christmas treat.”
Other potential help at Water’s Edge includes flooring, landscaped gardens or help with legal fees and stamp duty. The development enjoys a waterside location beside the Caldon Canal and forms part of the wider ‘City Waterside’ regeneration programme.
There’s a last-minute Christmas ‘bargain’ at Doulton Grange, in Baddeley Green, where just a single four-bedroom detached Ribble, plot 59, remains for £235,950, with the option of either £500 towards the mortgage for up to two years or part-exchange, plus carpets and curtains, stamp duty and legal fees.
Situated east of Stoke, on Leek New Road, the development offers individual design in a small and friendly ‘village’ community, yet easy access to the amenities of Hanley, Festival Park and the M6 motorway.
The Ribble itself is a beautiful four-bedroom house, with its roof space cleverly converted to accommodate a sumptuous master bedroom with en-suite and fitted wardrobes.
Further afield at Cheddleton, near Leek, Redrow also has festive treats a-plenty at St Edward’s Park, a real winter wonderland surrounded by acres of mature woodland and rolling countryside. The development comprises new and refurbished properties on the site of a former Victorian hospital.
Homes available here include one and two-bedroom apartments from £99,950 to £131,500 and four and five-bedroom detached houses from £379,950.
Pre-Christmas incentives on selected plots only include a choice of 5% deposit paid, a mortgage subsidy of £500 per calendar month for up to two years on selected plots, while part-exchange will be considered for those purchasing one of the detached houses. Landscaped gardens, curtains and light fittings are also available with some properties.
