Redrow helps new home owner to spread her wings with fabulous prize

Laura, who has recently bought a two-bedroom apartment at the Cooper Court development in Hazel Grove, Stockport, has bagged an exclusive flight in the Redrow hot air balloon.

The-award winning housebuilder let an impressive 1,000 balloons off into the sky, from the popular development and visitors were invited to fill in a tag and attach it to one of the balloons in a bid to see if their balloon travelled the furthest.

Lucky Laura scooped the prize for her and a friend, which includes a night’s dinner, bed and breakfast in a luxury hotel, when her balloon landed in Bury St Edmunds.

Laura, who works for NatWest in Cheadle Hulme, said: “I have never been in a hot air balloon before and I am actually scared of heights so I am a bit nervous about the flight.”

The 22-year-old has taken her first steps onto the property ladder with her new home at Cooper Court.

She said: “My mum and dad always said that they would not let me rent and I have always worked and saved hard so I really wanted to buy my own place.

“The apartment came with a fridge freezer and a washing machine, as well as fitted carpets, which was a big help.”

Laura said that she was impressed with the support that she received from Redrow’s sales team during her move, adding: “I was attracted to the development because of the location. You have got the fields just across the way and the reservoir at the back and it is a nice little development, which is set back from everything else.

“I was able to move into my new apartment very quickly and the sales team were very good.”

Already proving itself to be the height of sophistication, Cooper Court will eventually feature 98 properties close to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Hazel Grove. The first people have already moved in and a vibrant new community is starting to emerge.

Current availability includes two-bedroom apartments from just £156,000 and three-bedroom houses from £229,950 to £254,950. Future releases will include apartments with Juliet balconies overlooking the neighbouring reservoir.

Travel connections from Hazel Grove are excellent, with easy access to the A6 and M60 motorway and a local railway station which takes people straight into Manchester Piccadilly in 30 minutes.
