Mon, Mar 20th 2006, 11:00

Two local footballers have kicked off two brand new show homes at house builder Redrow’s Champany Fields development in Dodworth.

Nicky Wroe and Dale Tonge, who play for Barnsley Town FC, came along to the development to perform the official ribbon cutting ceremony and to declare the two new stunning show homes open.

Julie Rayner, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) says: “It’s really great to have star presence at our show homes launch, as it’s a wonderful endorsement of our product. We’ve already had a lot of interest in this development and are hoping that the show homes will help to attract many more potential customers to the site.” .

The stars opened the doors to the four-bedroom Otter and Ribble show homes, which are typical of the range of properties on offer at this development. Current prices for a four-bedroom detached Otter, like the show home, start at just £224,995. Three-bedroom detached styles are also available from £176,995. .

Redrow’s brand new show homes are stars in their own right. Both have been given the VIP treatment by specialist interior designers, who have created homes we’ll all desire to live in. And for those who reserve their perfect plot for a limited period, Redrow will give £5,000 so buyers can create their own show home look. .

Champany Fields is a beautiful development of 67 detached three and four-bedroom homes. The development is adjacent to Dodworth railway station, which offers commuter services to Barnsley (seven minutes), Huddersfield and Sheffield. There is also convenient access to the M1 motorway just one mile away. .
