A smoother move's in store with part-exchange in Bracknell

Dawn and Ash Aggarwal, and their two children, moved into a new home at Redrow’s Imperial Heights development within weeks of reserving, by effectively “swapping” their existing property.
The couple, both 41, were delighted they could enjoy Christmas with their family in their new home, after only deciding to move there at the beginning of December.
Childminder Dawn, a self-named ‘golf-widow’, said: “We couldn’t believe it when Redrow said we could be in our new home by Christmas but we were over the moon. We chose a five-bedroom ‘Webburn’ house because it has plenty of space. Ash works in telecommunications and we both work from home, so we have converted one of the bedrooms into an office and we can spread out with plenty of living space downstairs.
“Part-exchanging our existing home in Binfield was so easy; we didn’t have any of the worry that comes with selling a home, as Redrow took care of all of that for us. Our new home is perfect. It has a great view overlooking the copse and of course it’s still close to the golf course for Ash.”
And sport-loving Ash will be glad of a new home to relax in after recently running a half marathon for the NSPCC.
Redrow is still offering homehunters the option to part-exchange on selected plots at Imperial Heights, helping those customers who need to sell up before moving in.
The part exchange incentive on selected plots means Redrow will buy a customer’s existing property (subject to criteria) and effectively ‘swap’ it for a new home, taking the problem of finding a buyer, or becoming part of a chain, out of their hands and paving the way towards that new home.
Holly Finer, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Southern), said: “This is the ideal option for people who want to move right away, but are being held back by their current house. Like with Dawn and Ash, we can take care of all that for them, leaving them to concentrate on a move to their dream Redrow property at Imperial Heights.
“Potential customers can visit the development to chat to our experienced sales consultants about how this offer could work for them and also take the opportunity to look around the two stunning show homes.”
Part exchange is one of the measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow’, which are all designed to give home buyers confidence and to help make their move as easy as possible from the moment of first enquiry until after they’ve moved in.
Redrow’s Imperial Heights development is part of Jennett’s Park, a joint housing venture which, as well as featuring a country park of 91 acres in the future, will also come complete with a doctor’s surgery, primary school and 10 play areas. Approximately half of the development is set aside for open space, retained woodland and recreational areas.
There is currently a selection of homes available at Imperial Heights, including two bedroom apartments, from £199,950, as well as four and five-bedroom houses, with prices from £334,950 to £469,950.
Just five minutes away from Bracknell and 20 minutes from Reading, the location near to the A329 Berkshire Way also gives it easy access to the M3 and M4 – perfect for commuters.
