'Un-shelve' those property plans and jump on the housing ladder in Chorley - Quick!

Award winning housebuilder Redrow is offering its innovative and low-cost Debut homes at Buckshaw Village, near Chorley, with prices from less than £81,000 - but with only four properties left for sale, potential purchasers will have to hurry.
Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “According to the Halifax the number of first time buyers entering the housing market is at an all-time low since 1980 and, only recently, the Abbey announced that two-thirds of potential first time buyers had shelved their plans.
“Fortunately it doesn’t have to be this way for would-be home owners in the Chorley area – provided they’re quick. Our Debut range offers stylish homes and a quality living environment, but without the big price tag. It’s a concept that has proved unbelievably popular with young home buyers in the Chorley area.
“To make home ownership even more accessible, Debut customers can normally defer 10% of the initial purchase price for up to 10 years, but with these last few homes we’ve increased the deferred ‘Easi-buy’ option to 15%. This means that someone can now get onto the property ladder at Buckshaw Village for an initial outlay of just £80,745”
This fantastic deal is available on the final ‘D3’ designs, which form part of the second successful Debut development to be built as part of the award-winning Buckshaw Village.
The D3 is a two-storey home with its double bedroom and bathroom at entry level and a bright, modern open-plan living area and fitted kitchen above. It comes with a designated parking space.
Debut home owners also benefit from having a single fixed monthly service charge, which covers the cost of water, electricity, gas and buildings insurance, as well as all external maintenance and window cleaning – making it easy for people to manage their monthly finances.
Lesley adds: “The Debut properties are built with practicality, affordability and quality in mind – but this doesn’t mean we have scrimped on the style. All of the Debut properties are really fresh and modern and designed to maximise the potential of every inch of space.”
Carefully landscaped communal grounds cared for by Redrow’s own management company help to create a sense of place; and, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the attractive properties are designed to achieve an Eco-rating of “excellent”, so new home owners can do their bit for the environment as well
The Debut II development forms part of Buckshaw Village – a mixed use, sustainable community that incorporates a wide range of residential properties as well as leisure and retail facilities and more employment for the area.
Located directly between the M6 and M61, at Euxton, near Chorley, Buckshaw Village also features a range of more traditional homes for people at every stage of the property ladder. There’s also a business park and proposals for a district shopping centre, provision for a new railway station with park and ride facilities, a primary school, health centre and outdoor sports amenities.
