Redrow dazzles the crowds at Wirral show home launch

Thu, Apr 10th 2008, 16:15

Visitors to the attractive development, which is situated off New Chester Road in Bromborough, were treated to a whole host of entertainment.
A stilt walker and balloon modeller were on hand to greet people in the public square at the entrance to Woodlands Grange – a feature which is proving popular with prospective buyers.

Laurel and Hardy look-a-likes, brought a touch of old-style movie magic to the event and  showed off a range of close-up magic tricks, while a children’s magician was on hand to entertain the younger guests.

Not forgetting mum and dad – there was a stylish marquee set up in the show home grounds, where a Rat Pack style singer performed for the crowds, who were able to enjoy a cocktail served by flair cocktail artists.

Elaine Mounsey, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (North West) says: “The show home launch was fantastic, it went really well. We had a wide range of visitors, including people who have bought on the development, prospective buyers on our Mastermove scheme and those looking to move home.

“Everybody was really enthusiastic and the visitors loved the décor of the three show homes, which each have their own unique style.

“The arrival square also attracted a lot of attention and people were very impressed with the layout of the site, with many thinking of buying a new home at Woodlands Grange.”

The venture is just a stone’s throw away from the 19th century garden village of Port Sunlight and all of the homes have been designed with this in mind, giving them plenty of character.

Three striking show homes are now open giving prospective buyers a taste of the wide variety of properties that are on offer.

The three-bedroom Elworth, which will be available from £189,000, features an en-suite, as well as a downstairs cloak room and offers spacious living. The show home has a classic feel to it and is decorated in black and white throughout, with old black and white photographs on the walls – a reflection of the area’s rich history.

The Farnell, priced from £215,000 is also a three-bedroom property but, in a modern twist on the traditional family home, it features a ‘ready-made loft conversion’ comprising a sumptuous master bedroom and en-suite. It also comes with a single garage. Decorated in bold blues and contrasting white throughout this has a really fresh feel to it.

Finally there is the four-bedroom Hambledon, with single garage, which is currently available from £255,000. This property also has a ‘ready-made loft conversion’ – home to two bedrooms and features an open plan kitchen/dining area and a utility area, as well as an en-suite bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. The brown, gold and cream décor gives this property an elegant feel and the living room offers a touch of the Orient with a beautiful gold feature wallpaper, overlaid with images of orchids.

From apartments to spacious family homes, including properties with their living space arranged over three floors, Woodlands Grange has something to suit all tastes. Two-bedroom apartments are priced from £129,950 while house prices start at £170,000 for a three-bedroom property.

Woodlands Grange will eventually comprise 192 properties, featuring a mixture of semi, detached and mews homes, as well as a selection of apartments, and all have been designed to complement the distinctive Victorian architecture of nearby Port Sunlight.

The development opens out into a square, creating a focal point at the entrance, which will eventually lead to a long tree-lined avenue and the properties are arranged in small crescents. It will incorporate several areas of open space and there is open woodland to the rear.

It is ideally located for the M53 giving easy access to the motorway network. There are also good links to Liverpool from the nearby Spital and Port Sunlight train stations, making it ideal for commuters.

Woodlands Grange is just minutes from Bromborough village, which has everything to cater for everyday needs, and is close to Brotherton Park and the delightful Dibbinsdale Reserve.
