Set yourself apart with a new detached home in Llantwit Fardre

Fri, Apr 11th 2008, 15:00

While detached living has always been a much sought-after commodity, it’s becoming a rarity in the new homes market. With current government planning regulations to maximise land use, developers are building fewer detached homes and homeowners are often left disappointed.

Julie Ells, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: “Many people dream of living in a detached property with space around them to enjoy family life to the full.

“The detached houses at Glyn Coediog have been particularly sought-after, helped in part by the fact that truly detached, brand new homes are increasingly rare. There are also good local amenities in the neighbouring towns of Pontypridd and Llantrisant, convenient access to the M4 and a regular bus service close by to Pontypridd town centre.”

Buyers in search of a home that sets them apart can choose from the three-bedroom Haywood and the four-bedroom Parrott, Otter, Ouse and Venford homes.

The Parrott is a luxury family home, with a generous lounge and separate dining room with French doors opening up to the impressive rear garden. A spacious kitchen with utility room, a cloakroom and storage make up the rest of the ground floor. The first floor consists of a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, and three further bedrooms, in addition to a fully fitted stylish family bathroom.

Home buyers can also choose the ‘Ouse’, a four-bedroom detached three-storey home, with a ‘ready-made loft conversion’, providing an extra floor of flexible living space. It also boasts a host of other family friendly features, including a utility room off the kitchen, downstairs cloakroom, and an open-plan kitchen / dining room that’s the perfect place for families to convene.
The four-bedroom ‘Otter’ also has plenty of space for a family to spread out in, with an en-suite to the master bedroom, downstairs cloakroom in addition to the main bathroom, a utility room and separate dining room.

To provide added comfort and reassurance to prospective homebuyers, Redrow has extended its  ‘house price protection’ promise – helping to protect the value of its customers’ new homes for up to three years.

It is one of the measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow’, which are all designed to give home buyers confidence and to help get them moving in the current housing market.

As well as helping to protect the value of their new home, Redrow’s ‘re:assure’ package includes measures to help people sell their current property at the best possible price, or could include help with the monthly mortgage repayments for the first year or two.

Three-bedroom detached properties at Glyn Coediog are available from £204,995, with four-bedroom detached homes from £259,995. Other properties available include one-bedroom apartments from £139,995, two-bedroom homes from £145,500, and three-bedroom mid and end-terrace houses from £185,995
