Contemporary new homes will deliver suburban living at its best
Fri, Apr 18th 2008, 12:00
Award-winning Redrow Homes has launched ‘The Lawns’, a contemporary development of 72 two, three and four-bedroom homes on the site of the Old Colstonians Ground on New Road.
The range of properties available includes apartments, traditional two-storey homes and three-storey townhouses, which will appeal to a wide variety of homebuyers.
Sandra Hughes, sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “These fabulous new homes are now on sale from the marketing suite on site, where potential buyers can view plans and a model of the development.
“The Lawns is sure to attract a range of different homebuyers from young professionals, who will appreciate its close proximity to the city centre, as well as families who will fall in love with the spacious properties on offer and the good choice of primary and secondary schools available close by.
“The Lawns is just four miles north of Bristol city centre and its first-class shopping facilities, leisure facilities and nightlife. It is also just a short walk to Bristol Parkway Station and has easy access to the M32, M4 and M5 motorways so it is perfect for commuters.”
The first properties are expected to be ready for occupation in late summer.
Nearby, Redrow is also building the brand new urban village of Cheswick, in Filton, where the ‘greener’ new homes in the first phase, named Tallsticks, will reach level three of the new Code for Sustainable Homes, two years ahead of targets set by the Government.
Sandra added: “We are investing a great deal in the local area by creating these two superb developments. The Lawns and Cheswick will provide local people with a great selection of high-quality new homes in the Bristol area.”
The first homes available at The Lawns are priced from £187,000 for a two-bedroom apartment to £237,000 for a three-bedroom home.
To provide added comfort and reassurance to prospective homebuyers, award winning Redrow Homes has extended its ‘house price protection’ promise – helping to protect the value of its customers’ new homes for up to three years.
It is one of the measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow’, which are all designed to give home buyers confidence and to help get them moving in the current housing market.
As well as helping to protect the value of their new home, Redrow’s ‘re:assure’ package includes measures to help people sell their current property at the best possible price, or could include help with the monthly mortgage repayments for the first year or two.
