Property guru and Redrow can help you make the move to a brand new home

As national New Homes Week draws near (March 20-26th), award winning housebuilder Redrow has come up with a great way to help you make the move to a brand new home.
They have enlisted the support of property guru Tina Jesson to advise would-be home owners on how to sell their existing property more quickly so they can trade up to a brand new Redrow home.
Tina, who founded UK-wide home styling and property staging company, Home Stagers®, will be at Redrow’s Parc-y-Coed development at St David’s Park, near Hawarden, this Sunday (March 12) to offer valuable tips and advice on how to quickly sell your old home and nestle into your new one.
And the services of one of Tina’s home staging experts are available to anyone who signs up to Redrow’s Mastermove scheme, designed to help those with an existing property to sell.
Via Mastermove Redrow appoints a carefully chosen local estate agent to market the customer’s existing property, manages the process on a weekly basis and ultimately pays the estate agent’s fees, leaving the customer free to concentrate on the more enjoyable aspects of moving home.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West), says: “Many of the people interested in buying a new home at Parc-y-Coed have an existing property to sell. Through Mastermove we can take care of the red tape on their behalf and hopefully make the process as quick and stress-free as possible.
“With the additional resources of Home Stagers® we can also help them to make sure they get the best possible price for their existing property in the shortest possible time.”
Tina Jesson is a successful business woman, who has made making money from property her prime trade. She has provided expert advice to a number of television programmes, including Channel 4’s Selling Houses and Property Ladder and ITV’s Tonight with Trevor McDonald. She is also the author of ‘How To Play The Property Game’, published by Allison and Busby.
According to Tina, presentation is the key to a successful sale, yet many people overlook the simple tactics that can be taken to improve the look and feel of their home.
She says: “A little bit of care and attention goes a long way. You make sure you look smart for a job interview and make a special effort with your appearance if you’re going somewhere nice, but many people don’t think about taking the same time to make sure their home looks its best for potential buyers.
“I’ll be happy to give advice to visitors to Parc-y-Coed this Sunday about how they can stage their home successfully - and I’m looking forward to the fresh challenges that might be in store for my team if people sign up to Mastermove.”
Mastermove can incorporate a ‘Home Sale’ consultation with a locally-based Home Stagers® stylist, who assesses the customer’s existing home and how they show viewers around their property. The stylist makes recommendations on how to present the property at its best, mostly through small changes such as lighting, painting, de-cluttering or defining a room’s purpose. Customers also receive a bespoke checklist of things they can do to increase the chances of turning viewings into offers.
Redrow’s Parc-y-Coed development currently features a mix of three and four-bedroom semi and detached houses, with prices from £194,950 to £286,000, including a number of designs that utilise their roof space to offer extremely spacious family accommodation over three floors.
As well as finding out about Mastermove and Home Stagers®, visitors this Sunday can also view the professionally designed and decorated, fully furnished four-bedroom detached Langdale show home for an insight into the life that’s waiting for them in a brand new home.
For further details of homes at Parc-y-Coed join Redrow and Tina Jesson on Sunday, March 12th, between 12 noon and 4pm, view the show home any day of the week from 10am to 5.30pm, or call 0845 676 0366.
