A stunning penthouse show home has opened its doors to buyers at The Boardwalk in Eastbourne - a waterfront venture where homebuyers can take a dip in the height of luxurious living.
To help homebuyers picture just how fabulous a new life in one of Redrow’s striking waterside apartments could be, they can now take a stroll around a three-bedroom penthouse which has been beautifully furnished and decorated by Redrow’s chosen interior designers.
Visitors will also be able to appreciate the amazing dual aspect views out over the harbour and the sea from the large windows and terraces of both sides of the apartment, which get morning and afternoon sun.
Situated in the popular Sovereign Harbour area, The Boardwalk apartments combine elements of light, air and water to give a complete sense of space and relaxation and the penthouse show apartment has taken inspiration from this with an elegant colour scheme of pale ivory, silver, champagne, taupe and soft grey.
The main bedroom has its own terrace overlooking the sea, where buyers can imagine waking up to the serene sound of the waves. The cream carpet and pale grey and white fitted wardrobes with frosted glass, accentuate the feeling of light and space, and are also features of the second bedroom. The third bedroom has been transformed into a guest room with a day bed.
The high-specification kitchen has pale grey granite worktops with a sandstone tiled floor. In the two en-suite bathrooms white tiles with dark grey and black accessories deliver a chic look, while the main bathroom is pale cream and warm terracotta.
The quality of the flagship development has been recognised both nationally and regionally and it has scooped five prestigious property awards, most recently the title of ‘best apartment in Sussex’ for its penthouse and four stars in the national ‘best marina category’ at the Daily Mail UK Property Awards.
Tina Chalk, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Southern), said: “The Boardwalk is about taking dreams and aspirations and turning them into stunning reality, where you can escape from the trappings of everyday life. It's about recognising the need for a better quality of life and nowhere is this truer than with our impressive penthouse apartments, which have to be seen to be believed.
“We have just two fabulous penthouse apartments remaining so buyers will have to be quick if they want to invest in luxurious living on the water’s edge. But we do have some other sought-after one and two-bedroom properties for those who want a slice of the action for a lesser price.”
The development is made up of six individual buildings, each one taking its name from a type of nautical knot. The bold exterior design draws on maritime influences, reflected in the eye catching facades of the six buildings, which feature splashes of blue and yellow and utilise an unusual combination of aluminium, canvas and wood. A timber decked walkway separates the buildings and enhances the character of the development.
There are still a number of one and two-bedroom apartments available in the Centauri and Bimini buildings. Prices at The Boardwalk currently start from £199,000. The last remaining fabulous penthouses – including the show home - are priced at £650,000 and £657,000.
Visit The Boardwalk, at Sovereign Harbour, daily from 10am – 5.30pm to view the outstanding penthouse show home and two-bedroom show apartment. An official launch of the Penthouse show home will take place on May 24. For more information call the sales team on 01323 472194 or immerse yourself at www.theboardwalk.redrow.co.uk.
