Redrow scoops success as 75 per cent of development sold

In a town famed for clotted cream and ice cream, Redrow’s new homes venture has whipped up a whirl of success since its launch – with only nine apartments and two houses remaining.

Redrow Homes has sold three quarters of its vibrant Treverbyn development, set in Plympton, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, Devon.

The quality of the stylish homes and ideal location just outside Plymouth has boosted the success of the development and, with only eleven properties left, buyers will have to move fast if they want to snap up one of these sought-after homes.

Treverbyn is a unique development of one and two-bedroom apartments and just a couple of three-bedroom homes and is ideal for those considering downsizing to apartment living.

Hannah Newnes, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “This is the last chance to own one of these popular new homes in a great location.

“The development is set within a walled garden, with landscaping that will be tended by a management company, and is close to the local amenities of Plympton and everything that the city of Plymouth has to offer.

“The spacious and stylish apartments appeal to a wide variety of people, including young professionals, downsizers whose children have flown the nest, early or active retired and those looking for a permanent holiday home. The semi-detached houses would suit a young family.”

The apartments enjoy an open-plan living/dining room and kitchen – perfect for entertaining, and the height of contemporary but practical living. Many also have en-suite to master bedroom and some have walk-out balconies.
Kitchens are fully fitted with integrated appliances, including stainless steel Smeg oven and hob, plus fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer.

Properties all come with a designated parking space and the safety benefits of a door entry system. There are lifts in two of the three apartment buildings that make up the development.

The development is within walking distance of Plympton town centre and on a regular bus route for Plymouth city centre, as well as being close to the Devonshire countryside. The town itself is famed for its clotted cream and ice cream factory, and is a haven for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, with a wealth of biking and walking trails available at the nearby Cann woods, two golf courses within four miles of the development and close proximity to Dartmoor National Park.

Plympton has all the features of a typical country town with a post office, shopping centre, restaurants and plenty of traditional public houses.

With the vibrant city of Plymouth only five miles away, people choosing to live at Treverbyn will never need to travel far for anything they may need. Plymouth boasts excellent road links with the A38, A386 and the A374 leading to Exeter, Barnstaple and the M5.

The last remaining two-bedroom apartments are priced from £155,995 to £162,995 while the pair of three-bedroom houses are priced at £229,995 each.
