Redrow sales director, Sue Lambert, was so impressed with the award-winning developer’s Eastfields venture, she snapped up one of the popular properties herself.
Not content with just selling Redrow homes, Sue who has over 20 years experience in the housing industry, purchased a two-bedroom property at the popular development as a future investment to supplement her pension
Sue, who lives in Sheffield with her husband, says “Bridlington has a lot going for it. It’s always been a lovely fishing town complete with a much sought after seaside location and a recent influx of capital, particularly around the seafront area, has ensured the future attractiveness of this coastal resort.
“It was because of this that I decided to personally invest in the area and buy a property at Redrow’s Eastfields development to top up my pension.”
Sue purchased one of the two-bedroom Canterbury homes. Featuring a modern kitchen and spacious dinning/living area, the Canterbury design has proved to be well-liked amongst buyers.
She continues: “The great location of Eastfields and its popularity, means I’m confident that it will prove to be a sound financial investment - and of course working as a sales director for Redrow, I am well aware of the quality of homes we build and this only reassures me more in regards to the future worth of the house”
Situated off Brett Street, close to the old town with its historic buildings and ‘curiosity’ shops, Eastfields’ boasts a fine array of two, three and four-bedroom homes. However buyers wanting a taste of coastal living need to act fast – there are only a number of properties left.
Among them is the Malham, a three-storey townhouse, which includes a first floor lounge with French doors and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. On this same level, bedroom three would be ideal as a home study for those who don’t need the extra sleeping accommodation. The master bedroom with en-suite and bedroom two are on the floor above. It is available at the reduced priced of £139,999
The four-bedroom Neale is another townhouse design, it is available at a reduced price to £167,999. Its main lounge and master bedroom with en-suite are on the first floor and the remaining bedrooms and family bathroom on the floor above, making it a truly flexible home.
There’s an extra living room area on the ground floor, together with the fitted kitchen/dining room, which has patio doors onto the garden. The Neale also has a detached single garage.
Eastfields offers easy access to the sandy beaches and the active working harbour of Bridlington. Buyers will also be able to enjoy a great holiday atmosphere and traditional seaside bars, pubs and clubs, as well as sporting and more sedate coastal pursuits nearby.
There are also excellent commuter links to Hull, York and the rest of Yorkshire via the road and rail network.
