Buying a home was as easy as one, two, three for Emma Wilcox – for she managed to buy her first house in just two weeks and is now enjoying the benefits of three-storey living.

The 33-year-old has just moved into her first home, at Kennet Heath, a brand new urban village in Thatcham, Berkshire, and she absolutely loves the fact that being brand new, there’s little or no maintenance to do - she can just enjoy the quality of life associated with living in a new home.

As this is the first home Emma and her daughter Amy will share with her partner Gareth, she was looking for something spacious to accommodate her growing family, as well as a blank canvas that she can make her own.
