Hop down to Hob Hey

Wed, Sep 6th 2006, 11:00

A unique luxury home set against a backdrop of beautiful mature trees and within walking distance of a popular village centre could be yours thanks to an amazing offer.

Hob Hey, in Culcheth, near Warrington, offers some of Redrow’s very best traditionally-inspired properties, with bespoke housing designs that emulate the character of this Cheshire village.

The small unique development features just 36 homes, in a mix of two-bedroom apartments and three, four, five and six-bedroom houses and for a limited time only Redrow is offering part-exchange on selected plots in this stunning location.

Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) says: "We have created a distinct portfolio of homes at Hob Hey and the quality and finish of each property is second to none. It is fast becoming the address to have in Cheshire.

"Individuality is also high on Hob Hey’s list of appealing features. House elevations have been customised to give each plot a feeling of distinctiveness, while all of the homes enjoy an attractive courtyard setting against a backdrop of beautiful mature trees, all within a short walk from the village centre."

Current availability includes large four-bedroom three storey properties which are located in a peaceful corner of the development; these homes are perfect for a family with the roof space cleverly converted to create an extra floor of living space.

The ground floor consists of a spacious through lounge and dining room, with a fully fitted kitchen including a central island, and the added benefit of a cloakroom/wc. The first floor briefly consists of three bedrooms, one of which includes fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room.

The ready made ‘loft conversion’ features the beautiful master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. If not utilised as the master bedroom, it would make great space for visiting guests or to give a teenager some privacy.

These properties are currently priced from £309,995 and front on to Hob Hey Lane..

Another example of four-bedroom homes perfect for those wanting three floors of living space are the Courtyard Mews at Hob Hey.

The layout of each mews property briefly consists of a large open plan lounge/dining room with French doors onto the garden, as well as the spacious fitted kitchen and cloakroom/wc. The first floor features the master bedroom and bedroom two with an inter-connecting en-suite. Both rooms have fitted wardrobes and the family bathroom is also on this floor.

The top floor features a spacious third bedroom and a fourth room which could be used as a bedroom or a study.

The mews are currently priced from £329,995.

Thanks to part exchange customers can swap their existing property for a brand new Redrow home (subject to criteria), taking the problem of finding a buyer out of their hands and leaving them free to concentrate on their move to Hob Hey.

Christine says: "Part-exchange is ideal for those who want to move swiftly without having to worry about selling their current house first or the threat of a chain collapsing. We will take care of the red tape, leaving the customer free to enjoy their new home."

Culcheth is well-connected, with the A580 East Lancashire Road nearby, offering access to the M6, M61 and M62, plus easy access to the neighbouring towns of Warrington and Leigh, as well as Manchester and Liverpool.
