Homebuyers who wish to live within close proximity of long sandy beaches in a tranquil coastal setting had better get their flip flops on… For Redrow Homes is nearing the end of an extremely successful season at its Cottage Farm development in West Crayke, Bridlington. Cottage Farm, featuring more than 220 new homes, has already welcomed a host of retired couples, holiday home buyers, families and first time buyers, thanks to the broad mix of properties on offer, including mews, bungalows and detached homes. Now only the final few properties remain for sale and if the previous years are anything to go by they won’t be available for long. Julie Rayner, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: "Bridlington’s popularity as a seaside retreat is growing all the time. In a recent report Bridlington was in the top 10 seaside towns that have seen the largest house price rises between 2001 and 2004. With gorgeous sandy beaches and award winning promenades, it’s easy to see why. "This coupled with the fact that Cottage Farm has the perfect mix of homes to suit all types of home-buyers at all levels, has been the key to the massive success of this development." Among the final few homes at Cottage Farm is the three-bedroom Fairwood. The Fairwood includes a spacious lounge/dining room that runs the full width of the house and has patio doors onto the rear garden. The kitchen is at the front of the house and features a choice of fitted cupboards and worktops, plus built-in stainless steel oven, hob and extractor. There’s also a ground floor cloakroom/wc. Upstairs, the master bedroom’s en-suite shower room and the family bathroom both feature elegant white suites with chrome finish fittings and a choice of wall tiles to complement. The Fairwood is currently priced from £144,995 and for a limited time only carpets will be included and Redrow will look after the stamp duty bill. As well as the Fairwood Redrow’s final choice also includes the two-bedroom Hickory and the three-bedroom Ennerdale from £150,995 and £138,995 respectively. "It really is the last chance to buy a new home at this brilliant close-knit community. Cottage Farm has developed into a really great place to live and I expect it’ll be sold out very soon," adds Julie. The Cottage Farm development itself boasts glimpses of the North Sea and is a five minute drive from the North Beach or approximately 25 minutes on foot. The marketing suite is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am - 5.30pm and Monday 1pm – 4.30pm and the sales team can be reached on 01262 670572 to offer more information about current availability at Cottage Farm.
