Detached homes are a rare species in today’s property market and with Redrow’s Kingfield Park already 50% sold, they could soon be extinct at this popular Liverpool development.
Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: "According to the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) the detached house is England's favourite property type, but because of Government guidelines on housing density very few brand new detached homes can now be built - which makes the homes at Kingfield park very special properties indeed.
"The homes on offer all have three or four bedrooms with en-suite to master bedroom and a garage and so would suit growing families or perhaps couples looking for some extra space."
The UK’s leading website for new homes, SmartNewHomes.com, launched a campaign to secure more suitable housing for young families last month, focusing on the lack of new family homes currently being built despite a large demand.
Christine adds: "Young families are keen to settle into a new property that will provide them with all of the space they need, with gardens for their children to play in and plenty of room to accommodate a growing family. The homes at Kingfield Park are ideal for these needs."
A home which is ideal for fledgling families is the four-bedroom Langdale. This detached home briefly comprises of a large open plan lounge/dining room and spacious kitchen. The ground floor also has the added benefit of a cloakroom/wc, utility room and integral garage.
The first floor sees the family bathroom along with four good sized bedrooms with an en-suite shower room to the master.
The Langdale is currently priced at £199,995.
To entice buyers further Redrow is also offering incentives on certain plots including stamp duty paid, security alarm and cash discounts.
Kingfield Park is located in the Orrell Park district of Liverpool and is just two miles from Aintree racecourse. Liverpool city centre is short bus ride away and Orrell Park train station runs frequent services to Central Station, which will give residents easy access to the exciting 42-acre retail led Paradise Street project, which is due for completion in Liverpool’s Capital of Culture year, 2008.
Current availability at Kingfield Park includes the three-bedroom Irwell style property, with integral single garage from £181,995, the four-bedroom Lea style property with detached single garage from £203,995 and the spacious four-bedroom Otter style home from £229,995.
