Three storey living is getting the creative juices flowing for house hunters in Sittingbourne.

Space is the order of the day for customers in Kent as Redrow’s Kingfishers development has three-storey properties that will stretch the imagination of home buyers who really want to spread out in their new home.

But those on the lookout must act fast if they want to be in with a chance of snapping up these desirable properties. Caron Hutchins, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), explains: "These are the last of the homes at this popular development, so it really is the final chance for people to buy these great properties that have so much potential.

"Three-storey living offers home owners a chance to use their living space in different ways and often to set aside whole areas of the house for children or visiting guests. This kind of layout is perfect for families as mum and dad can enjoy the peace and quiet of the middle floor for their bedroom and the second floor is ruled by the kids!

"Alternatively, for couples with no children or grown-up children who’ve flown the nest, they can use the ground and first floor for everyday living and keep the second floor pristine for when family and friends come to stay."

Three-storey living is experiencing a renaissance in the property world right now. The flexible layout provides extra living space and gives character to the houses.

Among the Redrow designs available at Kingfishers is the Teign property. This spacious four-bedroom, three-storey house has a multitude of possibilities.

It comprises a family/dining area and kitchen on the ground floor, providing a homely feel from the minute would-be-buyers step through the door. The dining room easily lends itself to alternative uses such a home office, play room, gym or even a ground-floor bedroom.

There’s the master suite on the first floor which features an en-suite shower room, and a spacious living room is also located on this level, enjoying increased privacy thanks to its elevated position towards the rear of the property.

Three further bedrooms and the family bathroom fitted with a classic white suite are located upstairs.

As well as the four-bedroom Teign, which comes with a £226,000 price tag, there is a limited selection of three and four-bedroom properties still available at Kingfishers from £205,000. Redrow is also offering flexible incentives on selected properties as part of their autumn deal.

Sittingbourne is lively market town, with easy commuter links to the M25 to London and the South East coast. Sittingbourne railway station is one-and-a-half miles from the development and London Victoria is an hour away. Gatwick, Stansted and Heathrow airports can be reached via the M20/M25.

The end of Kingfishers won’t, however, be the final chapter for Redrow in Sittingbourne as the company has recently secured planning permission for 100 properties from its award winning Debut range. These highly affordable homes are targeted at first time buyers and offer a mix of one and two-storey dwellings. Redrow will launch the development on October 22.
