More choice for dunfermline home buyers

Fri, Oct 27th 2006, 11:00

The rise of Dunfermline’s Eastern Expansion Area as a popular residential environment continues apace with the latest contribution from Redrow Homes.

After completing more than 700 new homes at Masterton Park, Dunfermline, over the last seven years, award winning Redrow has now launched its worthy successor, Middlebank Rise, off Aberdour Road.

The on-site marketing suite for Middlebank Rise has opened, where would-be home owners can view plans and find out more about the homes on offer.

The development will eventually comprise 200 new homes on just under 18 acres of land. They will include a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom terraced, semi and detached houses from Redrow’s latest range – offering even more choice to local home buyers.

Colin Crombie, regional director for Redrow Homes (Scotland), said: "We are delighted to have the marketing suite up and running as it gives visitors the opportunity to chat with our sales consultants and find out all the information they need on buying a home at Middlebank Rise. They can also view plans of the development and see for themselves the choice of kitchen and bathroom finishes for the new homes being built.

"The development will offer something for everyone, from first time buyers to growing families, empty nesters and investors. It also offers the duel benefits of being close to picturesque countryside yet within easy reach of a bustling town centre."

In addition to the new homes, Redrow proposes to transform the adjoining Pinkerton Valley with the creation of a 2.5 acre community park and woodland, including extensive play facilities and a kick-about pitch. A network of footpaths will link the parkland to Middlebank Rise and there will also be foot and cycle path links to Aberdour Road.

Middlebank Rise is set in Dunfermline’s flourishing Eastern Expansion Area, with the town centre just a short drive away. The development is ideal for commuters with regular bus services in the area and opportunities to commute to Edinburgh via the Forth road and rail bridges.

To find out more about buying a home at Middlebank Rise visit the newly opened marketing suite from 10am-5.30pm seven days a week or call 0845 676 0421 to speak with a member of the sales team.
