An explosive aerial firework display was held in Dunfermline by a Scotland home builder, wowing house hunters and local residents alike.
The pyrotechnical event, held by Redrow Homes to celebrate the launch of Middlebank Rise, was attended by around 70 people and entertained many more onlookers nearby.
Colin Crombie, regional director for Redrow Homes (Scotland) said: "We wanted to create a real community event to celebrate our latest milestone in Dunfermline and invited all of our existing customers, would-be purchasers and people living in the area to join us.
"There was a real party atmosphere, with food and drink as well as the colourful firework spectacular.
"Community spirit is extremely important to Redrow and we continue, through events like this, to get involved in the communities in the areas in which we build."
Redrow is well known as a developer in the area, having built more than 700 homes in the Dunfermline Eastern Expansion Area over the past seven years. The latest venture, Middlebank Rise, will feature around 200 new homes on an 18-acre site off Aberdour Road, alongside a specially created community park and woodland in Pinkerton Valley.
