Inflated interest at show home opening
Tue, Oct 31st 2006, 11:00
Priorpot Mews, in Malton, has now opened its show homes and the opening weekend saw interest go sky-high.
Redrow Homes decided to celebrate the ‘lift off’ of Priorpot Mews new show homes with north Yorkshire’s maiden flight of its very own hot air balloon.
Although high winds prevented the balloon from getting into the air very often, nothing deflated the enthusiasm of would-be home buyers.
Janine Bellamy, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: "We were so unfortunate with the weather. Although it wasn’t raining, there was quite a wind and it just wouldn’t have been safe for people to go up in the balloon at certain points.
"Fortunately though, we managed to let a few groups of children have a tethered ride when the wind died down. The weekend was a real success and the balloon was the perfect way to launch our new show homes at Priorpot Mews."
Back on firm ground, the three-bedroom Malham show home provides evidence of the spacious interiors and attention to detail afforded by each of the desirable properties at Priorpot Mews. It will also offer homebuyers an insight into how flexible and adaptable three-storey living can be.
Its layout briefly comprises a ground floor kitchen and dining area, cloakroom and integral garage. Upstairs, there’s a rear-facing lounge, bedroom and the family bathroom, while the second storey comprises two double bedrooms, once of which has an en-suite shower room.
Malham styles similar to the new show home will be available on a forthcoming phase.
The three-bedroom Kennet has also opened at the popular development, located off Scarborough Road. Its layout briefly comprises a large open-plan lounge/diner, spacious kitchen and cloakroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, with an ensuite shower room to the master, plus the main bathroom.
A Kennet style property is currently priced from £192,995.
Janine adds: "At Priorpot Mews we have a wide choice of properties for home hunters on all steps of the property ladder and a host of opening offers so whether they are looking for their first home, a nest for the family or are looking to downsize – their perfect new home will undoubtedly be found here."
Located in the semi-rural village of Norton, near Malton, Priorpot Mews has a range of mews style homes, semi and detached properties and three storey townhouses to suit all tastes. With superb transport links to the A64, the development is perfectly located for easy access to both York and Scarborough.
The professionally designed and decorated, fully furnished show homes are now open. To visit call into the marketing suite located just off Scarborough Road, open Tuesday to Sunday 10am–5.30pm and Monday 1pm–4pm or call 01653 694706 to speak to one of Redrow’s dedicated sales consultants.
