Let Redrow entertain you
Tue, Oct 31st 2006, 11:00
A day of family fun and entertainment will mark the launch of a new ‘show village’ at Redrow’s Worden Court development within Buckshaw Village, Euxton, this weekend.
Redrow is creating a carnival atmosphere at its well-established Worden Court venture with children’s entertainer and hot dogs available to visitors on Sunday 5th November, to celebrate the opening of the Ouse, Eden and Ribble show homes within the new village.
Chris Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: "We’ve planned a really exciting day for visitors with loads going on to entertain the kids while the adults get the chance to explore our show village and get all the details about our latest releases.
"Buckshaw Village has matured into a fabulous development which we’re extremely proud of. We really recommend that home hunters come and see our established street scenes and village centre."
The new show village includes the Ribble, an excellent example of a ‘room in the roof’ home. On the ground floor the Ribble has a separate lounge, dining room, kitchen and cloakroom. The first floor holds the family bathroom along with three bedrooms and at the top of the house is the master bedroom with en-suite.
Chris continues: "Having that extra space gives you the flexibility to define living spaces and maximise each floor’s potential. Whether the roof space is used to give a teenager his or her own freedom, a quiet retreat for the parents or keep it for honoured guests, it’s totally up to you and how you live. What we do recommend is that buyers come and explore the show home to get a real insight into how it can work for them."
Priced at £239,995, the Ribble show home has been dressed to depict how to best maximise the space with the top floor used as ‘the adults hideaway’ a fantastic master bedroom – perfect for those who want privacy and those who work from home.
Chris adds: "To give visitors a real taste of Redrow’s choice of homes we’re also opening the doors to the two-bedroom Eden and four-bedroom Ouse this weekend. It’s not just the children who’ll be kept entertained this Sunday."
Worden Court comprises a mix of two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom homes, mostly detached, including some with flexible accommodation arranged over three floors.
It’s one of the latest phases of new homes within the award-winning Buckshaw Village, near Chorley.
Buckshaw Village is a visionary mixed-use scheme set in the heart of Lancashire, between the M6 and M61. Along with the new homes, there is an 80-acre business park called Matrix Park, with further commercial areas planned. There are also proposals for a district shopping centre, provision for a new railway station with park and ride facilities, a primary school, health centre and outdoor sports amenities
Everyone is welcome to explore the new show village at Worden Court in Euxton, near Chorley, from 10am to 5.30pm on Sunday, November 5th and join in the Bonfire day family fun events between 12pm and 4pm.
