Going, going at Tidcombe Grove…

Wed, Nov 22nd 2006, 11:00

Precious time is slipping away for house hunters wishing to join the growing community at Redrow’s Tidcombe Grove development in Tiverton.

Of the 32 properties being created by Redrow at this attractive development, there are now just six to be sold.

Sandra Dixon, sales manager at Redrow Homes (West Country) said: “The six remaining homes would be perfect for those seeking a beautiful family home.

“They are all four-bedroom properties built to Redrow’s Tamar and Walkham designs and, being detached, offer greater privacy – with most having double garages and parking on their driveways too. As well as suiting growing families, the properties would also be perfect for those wishing to upsize as an investment for the future.”

There is currently a beautiful fully furnished show home open at the site, demonstrating the potential of the Tamar house type.

Sandra said: “We know how important it is to our customers to be able to get a feel for a property by actually looking around a real home. While many have the confidence to buy based on a floor plan and maybe a DVD fly-through, more than 50 per cent of the visitors to the Redrow website said they thought a show home was the most effective marketing tool.”

The handsome Tamar house type at Tidcombe Grove features, on the ground floor, an impressive through lounge, a separate dining room, a kitchen with adjoining utility room and a cloakroom/wc as well as an under-stairs store cupboard.

Upstairs, the first floor is home to the master bedroom which features an en-suite shower room, three more good sized bedrooms and the family bathroom, together with a roomy landing.

It is not just the impressive specification and build quality that make the homes at Tidcombe Grove so desirable, though, as the properties offer as much in terms of location as they do in quality design.

Tidcombe Grove is perfectly placed off Tidcombe Lane - the road leading out of Tiverton towards Tidcombe village. The development is bordered by a footpath/cycleway and a pretty brook, with views over nearby fields. It’s also adjacent to the grounds of the highly respected 400-year-old Blundell’s School and close to picturesque country walks.

The development is conveniently located within easy reach of junction 27 of the M5 motorway, offering access to Exeter, Taunton and beyond. As well as the good motorway access, Tiverton has much to offer, including the River Exe, the Grand Western Canal Country Park, the award winning Museum of Mid Devon Life, an excellent shopping centre and Pannier Markets three days each week.

Those who want to be one of the lucky last six to buy a home at Tidcombe Grove can visit the show home and the sales office, open seven days a week from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information about the homes at Tidcombe Grove, call the sales team on 0845 676 0322.
