Part exchange for Christmas
Fri, Nov 24th 2006, 11:00
Set in the beautiful town of Nailsworth on the edge of the Cotswolds, the new homes at Forest Rise are built in an enviable location at the top of the town overlooking the rest of the valley.
Therefore, it is no surprise that the first phase of Redrow’s development has sold out and all the signs point to a sell out on phase two as well.
Lorraine Kendrick, sales director for Redrow Homes (South West) says: “Judging on the success of phase one, we anticipate a repeat with the second. Forest Rise is set in a beautiful location that is much sought after by home buyers.
“Currently, as an extra special festive present, we are offering part exchange to those who reserve before Christmas.”
Thanks to part exchange, customers can swap their existing property for a brand new Redrow home (subject to criteria), taking the problem of finding a buyer out of their hands and leaving them free to concentrate on their move to Forest Rise.
Lorraine continues: “Part-exchange is ideal for those who want to move swiftly without having to worry about selling their current house first or the threat of a chain collapsing. We will take care of the red tape, leaving the customer free to enjoy their new home.”
And what’s more, being prepared to wait while your home is built and envisaging how it will look from the plans alone can also have some real benefits.
“A good percentage of our customers make the decision to buy off-plan. People who get in at the earliest stage generally have the pick of the plots. Another huge bonus is that buyers tend to get better prices if they buy at the beginning of a new development before show homes are open,” adds Lorraine.
Current availability includes the three-bedroom Malham, priced at only £215,995.
The Malham offers three floors of living space with an integral garage and demonstrates the high level of specification that can be found in every home at this popular development.
Its layout briefly comprises a ground floor kitchen and dining area, cloakroom and integral garage. Upstairs, there’s a rear-facing lounge, bedroom and the family bathroom, while the second storey comprises two double bedrooms, once of which has an en-suite.
When complete, Forest Rise will feature a selection of three and four-bedroom houses, plus 20 two-bedroom apartments on the site of the former Old College on Nympsfield Road.
The popular development is situated next door to Nailsworth Primary School and the town centre is easily accessed on a main bus route. The nearest train station, which is approximately four miles away at Stroud, offers services to Gloucester, Cheltenham and beyond. The development enjoys links with the A46 and A420, which means it’s only a 20 mile drive from Bristol
