School children will light up Altrincham
Wed, Dec 6th 2006, 11:00
Jingle bells and mince pies will be the order of the day this Friday (8th December) in Altrincham when school children from Broadheath Primary School help switch on Redrow’s Christmas lights at Stamford Brook, off Manchester Road.
Everyone’s invited to come down the popular new homes development at 3pm to take in the festive spirit as the children from Broadheath sing carols before officially switching on the Stamford Brook Christmas tree lights.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West), says: “Christmas is just around the corner and we wanted to kick off the festive season in style. It will be lovely having the children from Broadheath Primary School with us, as the school is near Stamford Brook and we have a great relationship with them.
“As the homes at Stamford Brook are designed to be energy efficient, we’re having a special tree this year – it will be planted and remain at the development long after we’re gone and will be able to grow along with the community we’re creating.”
Mulled wine and mince pies will be handed out to those who pop down, and for anyone who has a new home at the top of their Christmas list, a beautiful four-bedroom Balmoral show home will be open to view on the day.
Redrow has also introduced its Fast Track service on selected homes at Stamford Brook - designed to get customers moved in as soon as possible with next to no fuss or delay, which means customers could be opening presents in their new property on the big day.
The fast track homes also come with a range on incentives, including part exchange or 5% deposit and stamp duty paid, as well as free fitted carpets throughout and a landscaped garden. So there really is no reason to delay moving into your dream new home.
Stamford Brook is close to Altrincham and Sale and ideally situated for easy access to the M56 and M6. It’s within easy commuting distance of Manchester city centre, with a 10-minute cycle or bus ride to the Manchester Metrolink rail service.
Join the children of Broadheath Primary School at the development (just off Manchester Road) from 3pm on Friday 8th December to take part in the festivities and have a glass of mulled wine.
