Lisa ‘sales’ into new job

An ambitious new trainee sales consultant working at two residential developments in Bridgend is keen to help house hunters secure that perfect home.

Lisa Austin, from St Athan, works for house builder Redrow and was recently promoted to oversee sales at the Dol Gorwel scheme in North Cornelly and the Tir Lan development in Brackla.
 
Lisa, 22, who has worked at Redrow for two years said: “I am very excited about my new job. My previous role was mostly administrative, keeping the records up to date and making sure everything stayed organised in the sales office. The trainee sales consultant job involves dealing with the general public a lot, which is what I really enjoy.

“I have always wanted to work in the construction industry and when I left college, I worked for Mowlem, the construction firm. I moved to Redrow because I am more interested in the residential side of things than the commercial buildings that I was dealing with at Mowlem.

“I am really enjoying working at Redrow, and I am planning to stay here and hopefully work my way up within the organisation.”

Lisa, who lives in St Athan with her boyfriend, enjoys going out and socialising with friends.
