Christmas comes early to Eastbourne
Tue, Dec 12th 2006, 11:00
Oh come, all ye faithful to Redrow’s stylish development The Boardwalk at Sovereign Harbour this Thursday (December 14th) for an early Christmas treat.
Pupils from Haven Primary School’s children’s choir will be filling the skies with Christmas cheer when they sing carols at the award-winning development, transforming the popular venture into a winter wonderland.
The event will tie in with the opening of no less than two show apartments that have been given the ultimate makeover with furnishings and accessories by professional interior designers, as well as three view apartments complete with curtains, carpets and lights – to let people see the potential of an apartment at The Boardwalk.
Paul Moran, sales director for Redrow Homes (Southern), says: “We are delighted to be launching the new collection of show properties in the Orvis building to the sound of Christmas carols. It will be an exciting day for performers and home buyers alike at our flagship venture in Eastbourne and we hope everyone will come along to see an extra special treat - our guest of honour, Father Christmas, will be paying a visit to add that extra magic!”
The choristers will not be the only musicians at the development this Thursday. The Salvation Army band will play festive tunes to really get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
There will be a host of other seasonal delights on offer for apartment lovers at The Boardwalk, too, when they visit the exciting collection of two show homes and three view homes as they will be given mince pies, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine to get into the festive spirit.
Paul adds: “Christmas really has come early for home buyers at The Boardwalk. Those on the hunt will be able to really get a feel for living at this special development as they take a stroll around the apartments while sipping on mulled wine and enjoying the festive fun.”
Orvis is the first building at The Boardwalk to offer breathtaking sea views and it’s one of the most desirable developments in this popular coastal area.
Current prices for one-bedroom apartments at The Boardwalk start from £199,000, while two-bedroom apartments are priced from £247,000. Penthouses on release at the development come with a £750,000 price tag and offer home buyers the full Boardwalk experience.
The Boardwalk is located in the Sovereign Harbour area of Eastbourne and is just over 90 minutes from the capital, while Hastings can be reached in less than half an hour via the easily-accessed A259 and Brighton is a 40-minute journey along the A27.
Join Redrow for Christmas carols, mince pies and the chance to experience first-hand the relaxed way of life at The Boardwalk from 4pm-8pm on Thursday 14th December.
