Professional service is assured for those buying a brand new home in Ystrad Mynach, near Caerphilly, thanks to an award winning sales consultant.
Keen rugby fan Judith Sier won the Redrow Homes (South Wales) sales consultant of the year award for her work at the Cwm Calon development and she puts her success down to being a strong team player.
Judith, 46, who oversees other sales staff at the development as well as selling new homes herself, said: “I try to be a good leader to the sales team and I also run a tight ship, making sure everything is well organised.
Judith has 15 years’ experience at Redrow and immediately prior to getting sales up and running at the Cwm Calon regeneration project, she was team leader during the early stages of Redrow’s big Cardiff Bay apartment scheme, Celestia.
She said: “I’ve been at Cwm Calon since we launched just over 18 months ago. It’s a large development and quite complex on a technical level and having been here since the start I’ve built up a lot of knowledge which helps when selling the individual homes.”
Andy Jarrett, sales director of Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: “A good sales consultant must be able to interact well with every type of purchaser, from first time buyers to major investors, and also with colleagues of all levels. Judith has very strong people skills and this makes her very effective in her role and fully deserving of this award.”
Judith lives in Merthyr Tydfil with her partner Craig and her two daughters, Kate and Lauren. To relax outside work, Judith likes to watch rugby union, especially supporting the Merthyr Tydfil RFC Youth. She has a special connection with the team as not only are they coached by Craig but they are sponsored by Redrow as well.
The Cwm Calon development where Judith is based currently features a selection of three and four-bedroom terraced homes and four and five-bedroom detached houses, with prices from £158,950 to £306,950. Redrow is transforming part of the site of the former Penallta Colliery, which will eventually also see the refurbishment of the colliery’s power hall, winding towers, ancillary buildings and two lakes. Close by, Groundwork Caerphilly has already created a community park of some 180 hectares offering countryside walks.
