As Redrow’s refurbishment of grade II listed buildings near Horwich enters a new year, the house builder is gearing up to introduce home buyers to an all-new show home
The bespoke three-bedroom property will demonstrate the high standard of restoration that Redrow has undertaken at the iconic Arcon Village venture, and introduce home buyers to what’s ‘in’ in interior design in 2007.
Customers can experience life at the popular Arcon Village development first-hand when the doors to the brand new show home open this weekend (January 13th/14th).
The show home has been individually fashioned by Redrow’s professional interior design company, Connections in Design, with either the down-sizer or young professional in mind. The stylish look, demonstrating a sophisticated lifestyle, is intended to fuel homebuyers’ home-making desires.
Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “Arcon Village is really taking shape now and as we are about half way through the development we thought it was time to create a new show home which will help buyers visualise life here.
“The look we were aiming for was opulent glamour. The colour scheme offers a palette of metallic grey, burnt orange and gold wallpaper. The lounge is very formal, with wood laminate flooring throughout and chic steel-coloured furniture, making it perfect for entertaining guests.
“Continuing the theme of entertaining, the dining area has been designed with the classic dinner party in mind. The steel-coloured table and high-backed terracotta chairs provide the perfect setting for a sumptuous dining experience.”
The master bedroom is the piece de resistance, with gold beading, rust-coloured trimmings and slate grey furnishings, creating layers of lavishness.
The house is a three-bedroom mews with an unusual split level feature off the kitchen which provides extra space that has been dressed as an informal seating area and study.
Christine adds: “The split level detail gives an extra dimension to this exciting property. It has been dressed as an office area to showcase just one of the possibilities for this extra level.”
Arcon Village is tucked away at the end of a long sweeping driveway, surrounded by panoramic views of the West Pennine Moors and located off Chorley Old Road. However, it’s only five miles from Bolton and close to the M61 motorway, which makes it the ideal home base for professionals working in Bolton, Manchester, Chorley and Preston.
The land was originally put on the map in the 18th century by the Ridgeway family, who created a bleach works. Now Redrow is updating the buildings, including some new properties to create a unique venture that is bringing the past back to life.
Currently available at Arcon Village are two-bedroom apartments from £175,995, a range of two bedroom properties starting from £199,995 and three-bedroom properties from £216,995.
For a three-bedroom mews similar to the new show home prices range from £349,995.
For your chance to be one of the first to view the exciting new three-bedroom show home, come along to Arcon Village this weekend (January 13th/14th) off Chorley Old Road.
