Style savvy apartment hunters will get the chance to experience Manchester city living in all its glory when the newly designed show apartment opens this weekend (13th and 14th January) at Redrow’s iconic Vie development.
Just 30 properties remain for sale at the 207-apartment venture, which has been a runaway success with the city’s professionals.
Most of these are situated in Vie Tower, at the pinnacle of the building.
The new penthouse show apartment is located on Vie’s stunning top floor, offering fantastic views of the ever-changing Manchester skyline – and so really must be seen to be appreciated.
The penthouse consists of two bedrooms, including one with en-suite facilities, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, as well as boasting an impressive full length terrace and balcony, both overlooking the picturesque River Irwell.
Clare Whitehead from Manchester-based Kit It Out, who designed the interior, describes it as ‘sleek and contemporary’.
She says: “There is a minimalist, luxury feel to the apartment, perfect for young professionals who want clean lines without fussiness. The design is very unisex so we know it will appeal to both men and women living in the city centre. The contemporary style will appeal to Manchester’s fashion forward buyers.”
The living/dining area has a Japanese feel, with neutral colour schemes combined with red accents and dark leather furniture. Glass dining and coffee tables really accentuate the feeling of space - and combined with integrated stainless steel kitchen appliances - give an ultra modern look.
Moving through the bedrooms, both have light oak furniture brought in from Europe, with glass side tables and statement brown leather look bed frames. Accents of blue and green are used on lamps and cushions to brighten the rooms and give an airy feel.
Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes says: “Living in Vie Tower really epitomises everything city living is about – with rivers on two sides, you’ve got the water and city views, the sleek design and the prime location to take advantage of all that Manchester, the ‘capital of the North’, has to offer.
“The new show apartment is a perfect example of what life at Vie could be like. To make the decision a little bit easier we’ve also got a range of incentives to offer discerning buyers.
“We can give a 5% discount on selected properties, and on top of this great saving we will also include the stylish plasma television, blinds and light fittings that are on display in the show apartment – giving you one less thing to buy before starting your city living experience. Or if the décor in the apartment takes your fancy, we can arrange for Kit It Out to replicate the furniture and design package in your brand new pad instead.”
Vie comprises 207 one and two-bedroom apartments, and unusually for many city centre schemes, the price includes car parking – all properties come with one allocated parking space, some two. The development itself is located in the Castlefield conservation area, bordered on two sides by the rivers Irwell and Medlock.
The innovatively designed angular building has waterfront views and each apartment has been finished to the highest of specifications. One of the most competitively priced developments in Manchester city centre, prices at Vie start from £133,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, while two-bedroom properties are currently priced from £186,500.
Vie is located off Water Street, behind Porcelanosa. To visit the stunning new penthouse show apartment and have a look around the development call the Redrow sales consultants on 0161 819 5488, email vie@redrow.co.uk.
