Buy, buy Tidcombe Grove

Tue, Jan 23rd 2007, 11:00

Time is running out for Tiverton house hunters wishing to become part of the exclusive community at Redrow’s Tidcombe Grove development.

And the advice to would-be home owners is not to dally, as only a handful of properties remain and demand for this location has always been high.

Ed White, sales manager for Redrow Homes (West Country), says: “We have enjoyed terrific success with Tidcombe Grove. Its popularity has been fuelled by a good choice of family housing and the fact that it is located in beautiful natural surroundings.”

And what’s more, if buyers want a quicker sale, Redrow can offer part exchange on the final remaining homes.

Thanks to  part exchange, customers can swap their existing property for a brand new Redrow home (subject to criteria), taking the problem of finding a buyer out of their hands and leaving them free to concentrate on their move to Tidcombe Grove.

Ed continues: “Part-exchange is ideal for those who want to move swiftly without having to worry about selling their current house first or the threat of a chain collapsing. We will take care of the red tape, leaving the customer free to enjoy their new home.”

Among the final remaining properties is the four-bedroom Walkham.  The three-storey detached family home briefly consists of a fully fitted kitchen with separate utility room, a lounge with patio doors onto the garden, a separate dining room and cloakroom.

The master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and en-suite shower room is on the first floor, alongside bedroom two (also with fitted wardrobes) and the family bathroom. Two further bedrooms are on the floor above.

If four bedrooms are not required, these extra ‘rooms in the roof’ lend themselves to alternative uses, including a study, games room or children’s playroom.

The Walkham is currently priced at £350,000.  The other remaining house-type is the four-bedroom detached Tamar priced from £325,000.

“With just five homes remaining and the great New Year deals available at Tidcombe Grove, we would encourage any home hunters to visit so that they don’t miss out!” adds Ed.

Tidcombe Grove is perfectly placed off Tidcombe Lane - the road leading out of Tiverton towards Tidcombe village. The development is bordered by a footpath/cycleway and a pretty brook, with views over nearby fields. It’s also adjacent to the grounds of the highly respected 400-year-old Blundell’s School and close to picturesque country walks.

The development is conveniently located within easy reach of junction 27 of the M5 motorway, offering access to Exeter, Taunton and beyond. As well as the good motorway access, Tiverton has much to offer, including the River Exe, the Grand Western Canal Country Park, the award winning Museum of Mid Devon Life, an excellent shopping centre and Pannier Markets three days each week.

Those who want to be one of the lucky last handful to buy a home at Tidcombe Grove can visit the show home and the sales office, Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
