Only part way to go!

If you’re desperate to move into a dream new home but have an existing property you need to sell first - a local house builder could solve your problem this weekend (10/11 Feb).

Award winning Redrow is offering home owners the chance to part-exchange at its select Abbey Fields development in Osgodby, helping those customers who need to sell up before moving in.

With the part exchange incentive on selected ‘fast track’ plots, Redrow will buy a customer’s existing property (subject to criteria), taking the problem of finding a buyer out of their hands and paving the way towards that all-important new home.

Julie Rayner, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: “There’s no better option for people who want to move right away, but are being held back by the red tape of selling their current house. This is the ideal solution - we can take care of all that for them, leaving them free to concentrate on their dream new home.

“Our part-exchange event this weekend will give customers the opportunity to chat to our sales consultants how this offer could benefit them, as well as letting them have a look around Abbey Fields and our fabulous show and view homes.”

Information about the company’s popular Mastermove programme will also be available – the way to sell your house in three easy steps. This innovative scheme allows customers to ‘hold’ their dream Redrow home for up to four weeks, while Redrow takes care of selling their existing property – and all for a minimal fee of £50. Once their house sale has legally completed, Redrow will then pay all of the estate agent’s fees, and refund the £50 Mastermove fee.

Customers can take advantage of this part-exchange offer on several four-bedroom detached properties, including the Otter. A classic and elegant design, this home is ideal for a family who value a traditional layout as well as a high specification finish.

The ground floor opens into a spacious hallway and adjoining cloakroom, with kitchen, utility and separate dining room to the rear. The lounge, with bay windows is at the front of the property. Upstairs are the four bedrooms, all of a good size, with en-suite facilities to the master, along with the family bathroom. An Otter view home is available to view and it is currently priced from £229,995,

The sought-after Abbey Fields venture is just a short distance away from Selby town centre, with a wealth of high street shops, banks and building societies. There are two major supermarkets within the town centre as well as a railway station with direct routes to Leeds, York and London, ideal for commuters.

Julie adds: “The semi-rural location of Abbey Fields, with both green fields and large cities within easy distance is a real draw, and the first class properties here are the icing on the cake. We can only offer this fantastic opportunity for a limited amount of time, so people who want to know more about how we can make their move a little easier – and quicker - should come and see us this weekend.”

To find our more about these part-exchange offers, visit Abbey Fields between 10am and 5.30pm on Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th February. Alternatively call 01757 700275 for more information.
