Part way home…
Thu, Feb 8th 2007, 11:00
If the only thing standing in the way of your dream new home is an existing property you need to sell - a local house builder could solve your problem this weekend (10/11 Feb).
Award winning Redrow is offering home owners the chance to part-exchange at its Oak Glen development in Gilstead, helping those customers who need to sell up before moving in.
With the part exchange incentive on selected ‘fast track’ plots, Redrow will buy a customer’s existing property (subject to criteria), taking the problem of finding a buyer out of their hands and paving the way towards that all-important new home.
Julie Rayner, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: “This is the perfect option for people who want to move right away, but are being held back by the red tape of selling their current house. We can take care of all that for them, leaving them free to concentrate on their dream new home.
“Our part-exchange event this weekend will give customers the opportunity to talk to our sales consultants about how this offer could work for them, as well as having a look around our beautifully furnished show homes and Oak Glen itself.”
There will also be information available about the company’s popular Mastermove programme – the way to sell your house in three easy steps. This innovative scheme allows customers to ‘hold’ their dream Redrow home for up to four weeks, whilst Redrow takes care of selling their existing property – and all for a minimal fee of £50. Once their home sale has legally completed, Redrow will then pay all of the estate agent’s fees, and refund the £50 Mastermove fee.
At Oak Glen, the part-exchange offer is available on the impressive four-bedroom Walkham. Generously sized, this is the ideal property for a family and has the advantage of three whole floors of living space.
Traditionally laid out, the spacious lounge, kitchen and separate dining room are on the ground floor, along with the utility and cloakroom. On the first floor are the master bedroom with en-suite, a second bedroom and family bathroom. The top floor is home to two further bedrooms. This extra floor of space has a wide range of uses from a sanctuary for parents to a teenager’s den, or even a home office or gym. The Walkham is priced from £329,995.
Oak Glen is close to the A650 and just a 15-minute drive from Bradford city centre. Junction 27 of the M62 links with the M621 for Leeds, with all its attractions and vibrant commercial and professional centre. Leeds Bradford Airport is approximately 30 minutes drive away.
Julie adds: “Such a great offer on a notable property like the Walkham can’t stay around for long. So people who want to know more about how we can make their move a little easier – and quicker - should come and see us this weekend.”
To find our more about these part-exchange offers, visit Oak Glen between 10am and 5.30pm on Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th February. Alternatively call 01274 567473 for more information.
