Stepping onto the property ladder can be a daunting experience. But Redrow is coming to the rescue with its  ‘First Time Buyer’ evening this Thursday (February 8th) in Leeds.

The event, to be held at the company’s West 12 apartment venture in Wortley, is ideal for anyone who wants to make the leap from ‘renter’ to ‘owner’ but isn’t sure about what they can afford. A financial adviser will be on hand to give out expert advice and visitors will also be able to find out about the great deals available at the development.

And that’s not all. A prize draw will be held on the evening, offering the chance for one lucky visitor to win a 32-inch LCD TV – which would be a great addition to a new apartment for the winner.

Julie Rayner, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) says: “Buying for the first time can be a daunting prospect, and that’s why we decided to give people the opportunity to come along and get some advice, as well as letting them take a look around West 12 itself.

‘The development has been a real success so far, and we’ve had lots of first time buyers take their step onto the ladder here. The proximity to Leeds city centre - and all its amenities, the high specification of the apartments and the fact that each apartment comes with, unusually, a parking space included in the price, have all added to making living at West 12 such a desirable option.”

Prices for a two-bedroom apartment currently start at £124,995. A fridge and washer/dryer are included in the price, and at the moment Redrow is offering a much-needed incentive for many first-timers.

Julie explains: “As we know many first time buyers find it almost impossible to save up for a deposit, for a limited amount of time only Redrow will pay the 5% deposit on selected apartments at West 12. We’re expecting demand for the offer to be sky-high, and I’d advise anyone interested to come down to West 12 on Thursday to find out more.”

Refreshments will be available on the night, taking place at West 12, on Whitehall Road in Wortley between 5 and 8pm on Thursday 8th February.
