A detached home is still the most desirable

The detached home may be turning into somewhat of a rare species, but it’s still a much loved house type.
The good news for Liverpool home buyers is they could stumble on a rare find if they visit Redrow’s Kingfield Park venture.
The development in the Orrell Park area of the city boasts a host of quality detached properties which makes looking for that perfect home in Liverpool all the more enjoyable.
Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “According to the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) the detached house is England's favourite property type, but because of Government guidelines on housing density very few brand new detached homes can now be built - which makes these very special properties indeed.
“Kingfield Park is a highly desirable development, as all the homes are detached, and we’ve enjoyed real success so far.
“The homes on offer all have three or four bedrooms and so would suit growing families or perhaps couples looking for some extra space.”
Among the popular designs currently on offer at Kingfield Park is the three-bedroom Irwell property. The home features a spacious living room on the ground floor with a kitchen/dining area to the rear of the home. There is also the added bonus of a downstairs cloakroom and an integral garage.
Upstairs houses three bedrooms, including a large master bedroom with en-suite shower room, and an additional family bathroom.
The Irwell is available now, from £177,995.
Other homes on release include the four-bedroom Lea with detached single garage from £203,995, the luxurious Parrett from £221,995 and the equally spacious four-bedroom Otter from £229,995.
Kingfield Park is located in the Orrell Park district and is just two miles from Aintree racecourse. Liverpool city centre is short bus ride away and Orrell Park train station runs frequent services to Central Station, which will give residents easy access to the Paradise Street project. This exciting new scheme, set for completion in Liverpool’s Capital of Culture year, 2008 is said to be Europe’s largest retail and leisure development.
